PRAYER HOME

“Prayer is God’s strategy and His legal access into the lives of his people.
Whether global, local, or personal, God wants us to use our faith and our compassion to pray for His will to be done on earth as it is in heaven.”

— Bishop Jay Ramirez

I want to first start by saying God bless KLCC ministries and my fiance for bringing the almighty God into my life. On Dec 25, 2011 I've received Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior. I was doing things on my own for a long time, believing that as a man I needed no one. My relationship with my fiance was hitting rock bottom. My job working for the Dept of Correction had hatred and anger towards my co-workers as well as the inmates. Everything was falling apart and I didn't know what to do anymore until my fiance brought me to KLCC. That day I saw a play that was different from your usual Christmas theme. I know that day Jesus was speaking to my heart and told me it was time to come home. I give glory and praise to Jesus for calling on me. I needed to testify on my story and how Jesus came into my life. Amen     —Submitted January 2, 2012

Thank you for standing in prayer with me for my wife who had heart by-pass surgery on June 24, after about 5-6 hours of surgery she is doing great all vital signs are great, the ventilator tube has been removed and she is recovering very well. Thank you again for standing in prayer with my family for my wife in such a trying time as this. To GOD be all the Glory.      —Submitted June 27, 2011

I decided to start tithing. It was small amounts at first as I was hardly working. About the time I was packing up to move I lost my job as the shop where I worked closed. Then I received $300 in the mail to help with renting a truck in order to move. Tithing that $30 was one of the hardest things I've ever done as I had no other money coming in. But I trusted the Lord. After I moved I received my security back from the apartment I had been renting and I received $400 more than I expected (I was expecting 1,095.00). So Wed night I tithed $40.00 and Sunday I tithed the rest. It was with great joy that I tithed that $150. It wasn't hard at all. I was able to pay the back taxes and get my car registered. Thank you for your prayers.     —Submitted May 15, 2008

There is so much to testify to the power of prayer in my and my family's lives. At the most darkest time in my life (not wanting to live anymore), I cried out to God to please show up. He sure did and my good friend called and invited me to KLCC. Since then, there have been many other situations in my life that God has completely turned around because He has always heard my prayer and made the crooked places in my life straight! In my life God has done many miracles through my prayer for the protection over my four children. From the time they were small, I have prayed for them when they have gotten hurt and I have seen them get right up from what looked like devastating situations. God is an amazing, faithful God and I thank Him for having a cell phone that is always on and never runs out of minutes!     —Submitted February 11, 2008

I want to praise God for the times that He answered my prayers for the women who actually cancelled their abortions because "they changed their minds."     —Submitted February 10, 2008

My prayer life has transformed itself and has taken a posture of intercession;
a new job that pays 20% more than the last job; holy matrimony to my best friend (aside from Jesus, but she understands this); my wife has also been blessed with a new job that brings in 15% increase in income; a new car with a 6-year interest-free loan; a beautiful home (God knocked $20,000 off the price); transformed a potential in-law family nightmare into a dream.     —Contributed
