Outreaches

Community & World Action is a vital aspect of our church. Jesus went into the world around Him and made a positive impact on everything He touched.
We believe the church can become “salt and light” in the areas of government, education, health, the arts, entertainment, etc. Our involvement in
neighborhood revitalization, world disaster relief efforts, school boards, and other areas creates the sense, in and out of the church, of a God who cares
about every area of life. Making a difference is our faith in action.

FREEDOM PRISON MINISTRIES

“Freedom” Prison Ministry provides a safe, non-judgmental atmosphere where people can learn about God’s love, and accept Him into their hearts as they begin to see the plan that God has always had for them in their lives. Freedom offers Job Readiness opportunities to help prisoners become successful once they leave prison. Led by Pastor Tanka Ramos, Freedom Prison Ministry has gone into many local and state penitentiaries and has seen hundreds of souls saved and thousands of lives changed.

NATIONAL DAY OF PRAYER

Attended by local officials and representatives from many of the city’s churches, the National Day of Prayer is observed by proclamations and prayers over the President, the Nation and its leadership, families, and youth.

"VILLAGE OF DEVON" REVITALIZATION EFFORT

The Devon Economic Revitalization Committee consisting of state and local government figures, community activists, and those in the private sector, are working together with Kingdom Life to restore the community of Devon to its original charming stature of a New England village.

Among others pictured with Bishop Jay Ramirez are former Speaker of the House of Representatives, Jim Amann, and former State Senator, Win Smith.

PROPERTY BUILDING RENOVATONS

Kingdom Life is very involved in the community; since 1990 the church has been renovating its many buildings and properties, vastly improving the neighborhood.

KLCC received national coverage when it purchased a building that housed an adult pornography shop. Far from wanting to become landlords to such a business, the goal was to evacuate the business from the building and renovate it into a first-floor family-friendly business and second-floor apartment. DISASTER RELIEF EFFORTS

Disaster Relief Efforts are humanitarian ministries designed to provide supplies and a spiritual boost to countries that have been devastated by natural disasters. When these situations occur, donations are collected at Joseph’s Storehouse, and then shipped out with prayer to the various parts of the world.

ACTION AGAINST GRAFFITI

After several graffiti “tags” appeared on the Ministry Headquarters building, the adjacent playground’s handball wall, and surrounding businesses, KLCC posted a reward for information leading to the identification and arrest of those responsible. Cooperating with the Milford police department to stop the vandalism has resulted in the apprehension and arrest of several youth, some of whom paid for their crimes with community service at the church and under KLCC’s supervision.

KINGDOM KIDS CHOIR

Kingdom Kids Choir is a dedicated group of KLCC children who spread the Gospel through song and dance. They minister at several nursing homes and community events throughout the year.

HEARTS OF JOY NURSING HOME MINISTRY

“Hearts of Joy” Nursing Home Ministry makes regular visits to area nursing homes, bringing the love of God to the people there through quiet conversation, board games, smiles, and hugs.

KINGDOM LIFE BUSINESS NETWORK

Kingdom Life Business Network built upon Bishop Ramirez’ teaching on the “Triangle of Success,” seeks to train business owners and prospective business owners.
